In the Dark of Daylight is about the various struggles faced by men and women in the military. Some of the issues highlighted include the difficulties once, and in select cases still, faced by female soldiers, and the emotional struggle of dealing with losing a friend in battle.

It is a post-apocalyptic story revolving around three young soldiers during the stages of their military careers. Faced not only with the obstacles of soldiers from any time, but also horrifying creatures of all sorts, the trio sets out on a long and tiresome journey to make a heroic attempt at saving the world as they know it.
