In the 20th century man was a thriving species, ever expanding the world around it and constantly under the impression that they could endure whatever the world could throw at them. When scientists and governments began their talk of global-warming, the human race saw it as one more hurdle for them to valiantly leap over. They used their ‘green’ products, bought hybrid cars, and did whatever else they could to protect the ozone. In reality, however, even their greatest efforts could not prevent what was to come.
It wasn’t the ozone splitting, nor was it glaciers melting. It was, in fact, the seams protecting our dimension splitting apart, giving way to creatures from much darker ones. Fierce monsters with only the most primative instincts.
While experimenting with new technologies for space weaponry, NASA inadvertently tore the fabric between dimensions and unleashed hell on earth.
For several centuries the governments of the many Earth nations were able to keep their people blinded by an environmental faƧade, not realizing that, by keeping the population in ignorance, they were opening the door and letting the fox in the henhouse. Creatures of immense proportions began to terrorize the planet and make it their own.
But the human race is a stubborn one; it pushes forward even when all odds are against it. True to their nature, the humans used the full extent of their resources. They used only the simplest of materials for building new homes and used the barest scraps for feeding it’s people. Everything was put towards one cause; the destruction of anything not human.
In the dark of daylight, the last inhabitants of earth fight tooth and nail to take back the reality that was once theirs.
